Two weeks from today is the annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Cincinnati. This will be my second year photographing the event and I am beside myself with excitement. My mother is a 10 year+ breast cancer survivor and this will be her second year walking the route. I have never participated in any one event that had so many amazingly beautiful and inspiring individuals in one location.
I am also excited to be working with such a wonderful group of photographers who will be assisting me in covering every aspect of the day’s events. Not only do we have the race/run/walk that spans 2 bridges and crosses the state line twice, but we also have a survivor’s ceremony and kids’ events to cover. Needless to say, plenty of shutter clicks happening that day.
Please consider registering, walking/running or just coming down to show your support and wear some pink!

Lindsey your work is amazing. I’m so glad for the work you do. Your mom looks wonderful and kudos to her for kicking cancer’s butt. The lady in the picture giving the high fives I went to school with. Her name is Linda Croucher and she lost her fight against breast cancer a couple months ago. Again Lindsey, awesome work!
